By submitting your device to Fixtronics (Electronics Garden) for repair, diagnostics, maintenance, software service, or parts replacement, you acknowledge and agree to the following Data Loss Disclaimer.

Customer Backup Responsibility

Customers are solely responsible for backing up all personal data before submitting a device for service. This includes contacts, messages, photos, videos, documents, applications, saved passwords, account settings, and all other files stored on the device.

Risk of Data Loss

Electronic device repair involves inherent risks. During the repair process, devices may require diagnostics, resets, software updates, software restoration, part replacements, battery replacement, testing, or disassembly. These procedures may result in partial or complete data loss.

No Liability for Lost Data

Fixtronics is not responsible for any loss, corruption, deletion, transfer issues, or inaccessibility of data before, during, or after service. This includes data loss caused by pre-existing device damage, hidden hardware defects, failed storage components, battery failure, liquid damage, motherboard issues, software failure, or manufacturer-related issues.

Devices with Existing Damage

Devices that are physically damaged, liquid damaged, not powering on, stuck in boot loops, or previously repaired may carry a higher risk of failure or data loss during diagnostics or repair.

Recommendation

We strongly recommend creating a full backup using iCloud, Google, external storage, a computer backup, or another reliable backup method before any repair is performed.
